Enjoy the Silence (2023)

This project was developed during my Erasmus exchange at UMPRUM, Prague, where we were given the task of creating a concept and execution for the visual identity of the classical music festival Pražské jaro (Prague Spring).

The concept was inspired by the ancient marbling technique from bookbinding. In this process, a cornet was placed in water with ink, generating delicate ripples that visually echoed the movement of sound waves. These water patterns became a metaphor for how music resonates, shaping invisible emotions, creating vibrations that each listener interprets in their own way.

The aim of the project was to visualize the intangible and emotional aspects of music through this traditional technique, capturing both its organic beauty and its subjective meaning. By translating sound into image, the identity sought to make visible what is usually felt rather than seen.
